VACHERON & CONSTANTIN, Geneve, No. 344348

 
Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve , No. 344348, case No. 210814, completed in August 1908, delivered to Hausmann & co., agent of Vacheron & Constantin in Naples to Sig. Baron Anselmo Berlingieri on October 1908, for 2400 lira.

Extremely rare 19 ct. pink gold enamel, keyless minute repeating, "Grande and Petite sonnrie" clock watch.

CASE: Four body, massive, "bassine", polished with spring loaded bezel, the back with the chapleve enameled coat of arms of the Baron painted by Rosset. Gold cuvette.

DIAL: White enamel with arabic numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands.

MOVEMENT: 23''', gilt brass, double train with differential winding, 35 Jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bi metallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micro metric index.  Minute repeating and striking on gongs with push piece in the band, "Grans/Petite sonnrie" and "Strike/Silent" levers beneath the bezel. Signed on the dial, case and movement. 

According to Vacheron Constantin, this watch was specially made upon request and was part of a view watches of this kind, produced by the Manufacture.
